SRI Homes – Regent teams up with local hockey star for Alzheimer’s awareness

This year, SRI Homes – Regent – a CHBA Modular Construction Council member and modular factory operating in Lethbridge, Alta. – teamed up with the Lethbridge Hurricanes to launch the SRI Homes Yager-Bombs campaign, supporting the Alzheimer Society of Alberta and Northwest Territories. For every goal scored by Hurricanes forward Brayden Yager, SRI Homes – Regent donated $250, and for every assist, $100 – a commitment inspired by a cause close to Yager’s heart. “My grandpa had Alzheimer’s and recently passed away,” Yager says. “I am grateful for the support from SRI Homes in helping to raise money and awareness in memory of my Grandpa Trev.” Overall, SRI Homes – Regent contributed $10,000, strengthening care, awareness and support for families affected by Alzheimer’s across Alberta and the Northwest Territories.

Lethbridge modular builder Triple M Housing brings Christmas to local kids

Each year, BILD Lethbridge member Triple M Housing turns its Holiday Party into a celebration of generosity, raising vital support for Lethbridge Family Service’s Angel Tree Christmas campaign. Through the campaign, Lethbridge Family Services collects new, unwrapped toys to distribute in Christmas gift bundles to local children and youth of families in need. Triple M Housing employees rally behind the cause by purchasing raffle tickets for special prizes – an effort the company proudly matches dollar for dollar. Last year alone, Triple M donated $7,500, helping to ensure all children and youth in the region get to experience the joy of Christmas. ATCO, Triple M’s parent company, also runs an annual giving campaign that matches 100 per cent of employee donations to about 800 Canadian and global charities – totalling almost $59 million since 2006.

Modular builder Royal Homes donates $150,000 for new CT scanner at local hospital

When the Wingham and District Hospital set out to bring a state-of-the-art CT scanner to the community, Royal Homes, a member of Waterloo Region HBA and of the CHBA Modular Construction Council, stepped forward in a major way. Contributing $150,000 to the hospital’s $3.6-million Caring Together campaign, Royal Homes helped ensure that residents would no longer need to be transferred to distant sites for urgent imaging. As a result of campaign, patients in the Wingham region can receive critical diagnostics close to home, reducing delays in care, supporting faster clinical decisions, easing stress on families and lowering system costs by minimizing ambulance transfers. “We extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who contributed to the campaign,” says Nicole Duquette-Jutzi, executive director of the Wingham and District Hospital Foundation. “Your support has been instrumental in bringing this vital technology to our hospital.”
