Strength you can specify with confidence
ODL door skins are up to 15-per-cent thicker than comparable offerings, and its Standard Plus and Premium Builds deliver substantially more engineered lumber (LVL) where doors need it most, the lock side. On flush glazed doors, Premium Build features two full length engineered lumber lock stiles. For builders, that means doors that hold hardware securely and perform for the life of the home.
Weather resistance, engineered in
ODL doors are constructed without down-standing vertical rib voids along the top rail, eliminating a hidden pathway for moisture intrusion.
Fire protection, by design
With more than 10,000 residential fires each year, ODL’s fire rated fibreglass doors, now available in eight-ft. heights, are engineered to slow the spread of fire and smoke. UL Code certified, they meet the 20-minute Category B positive pressure rating with hose stream, comply with WUI exterior wildfire exposure requirements, and satisfy national codes for multi-family and single-family entryway or house-to-garage applications.
Authentic character, elevated
ODL’s square door edge delivers clean, architectural lines. Shaker embossments feature near 90-degree angles, the tightest in the industry, for deeper, more refined panel detail across every style. Rift Cut offers modern, linear woodgrain, while Satin Smooth’s fine brush stroke surface finishes beautifully.
